Will You Settle Down
02:54
|
|||
I'm going to the other side of town
I'm looking but you're no-where to be found
I'm searching for the people of my past
I'm picking threads and hoping that they'll last this
Theres not a soul that's left inside this home
Theres broken glass, a floor as cold as stone
Theres memories i'd like to lose, some keep
Theres a part of me i left upon that street
I'll settle down
Will you settle down
We're going to the other side of town
We're looking but you're no-where to be found
We're searching for the people of our past
We're picking threads and hoping that they'll last this
I'll settle down
Will you settle down

Sweetheart
01:57
|
|||
Sweetheart, just let me die, all alone
Clutching the phone
Paisty & numb i fall to sleep
Float by a dream that occures, once again
The faces of friends
They scream so absurdly
Breaking hearts with their words x3

Sleep By My Side
03:47
|
|||
Breathing in the air that you breath in
Cautiously timid to the bone
Pail heart beating you down
Release me please
Hand me down
Spin me round
Break my heart
Break this crown of mine
Break my lifes line
Hold me in time
Sleep by my side
No need to hide away

A Once Shattered Ideal
02:45
|
|||
Clutching straws you win
Submersed in filth and yet still
Content with what you own
The porcelain breaks when she falls
To the ground, there's the sound
No i don't mind if you cry
You can hold my hand if you like
For we're turning circles, round & round
Until our bodies crumble when they fall
To the ground, there's the sound
The understanding man that stepped aside
From his fear of falling short was left behind
Without a fortune to behold from a man of the wise
He collapsed into his dreams
O my love, o my love is gone
O my love is gone
O my love is gone
Love is gone
Love is gone

Fruitless Forest Lancashire
Fruitless Forest began its infancy in 2010 as a solo recording project in the bedroom of Karl Adam
Francis.
Today, the project has blossomed into a 5 piece, folk/pop live band. Dropping jaws at shows with their colorfully charming, upbeat yet haunting melodic nu-folk style.
In a similar vein to the ever-growing bands such as Bon Iver, The National, S. Carey and Daughter.
